Sundays call for church in the morning, dressing up, and pearls. Sunday is my favorite day of the week because I am able to take 2 hours out of my busy schedule to just reflect on myself and to enter a spiritual mind frame, as I take the time to thank God for the continued blessings in my life. Additionally, I also get to see half of my rather huge family every Sunday since we all attend the same church. Another bonus is that I get to dress more formally every Sunday, as compared to dressing more casual everyday, so that is always fun. I love every aspect of getting ready for a formal event, from hair, to makeup, to accessorizing with the perfect additions to my outfit. Today it was a pearl bracelet that perfected my look.
I used to be super into wearing mini skirts, but my style is always changing and currently I am loving midi pencil skirts. I feel anything a pinch below the knee always gives you a more professional, business look. Since my top was strapless, I decided to throw on a blazer to keep the professional edge intact. Although I have one too many blazers in my closet, I couldn’t resist when I saw the sheer sleeves on this one… I was sold in an instant. This entire outfit is perfect for church, formal events, or even a job interview. I also have a talent in pairing tops and skirts together that ALWAYS look as if I was just wearing a dress. But, nope, they’re two separate pieces. Trix went with a black and white ensemble today and added a black flower attachment to dress up her look. The floral attachment on her collar complemented my Chanel Bag, considering that a similar black flower is one of their signatures. It really emitted Chanel vibes.
Throughout church today, I had one message on my heart that I feel compelled to share with all of you. That message would be to tell you that “Nothing is impossible for God” and that the word “impossible” doesn’t exist in God’s dictionary. Whatever you’re going through in your life that may seem impossible physically, I promise you it isn’t impossible for Him. I encourage you this week to speak to God and form a relationship with Him, and if you have a trouble don’t turn to the things of this world to resolve them…turn to God…because nothing is impossible for Him!
Hope you all had a blessed Sunday and that a great week lies ahead of you! Don’t forget to like, comment, subscribe and follow me on my instagram blog @mercedesgonzalez ! I hope to hear from you!
