When I came to the realization that denim skirts were making a comeback, I was actually a bit unsure at first. Just the thought of denim mini skirts immediately took me back to my middle-school days. There wasn’t a single girl who didn’t own a mini skirt, and the trend eventually became sickening. Looking back, I felt the trend was better suited for the younger generation. However, one day I was online shopping through Revolve’s sale category, and I came across this denim pencil skirt and just couldn’t resist. I automatically started picturing all the different ways I could style it, and in the blink of an eye, it was added to my cart. What caught my attention the most was the deep slit in the back and the various distressed areas on the front. Due to the skirt’s tasteful design, it was still edgy and mature. I instantly knew it would provide for a killer outfit.

The fit was an added plus, it really complemented my “hourglassy” figure. I paired the denim skirt with an off the shoulder bodysuit and heels. The bell sleeves provided additional flow to my look, considering everything else was form fitting. My red Céline always does an outfit justice by adding that pop of color that my look needs! Trix was on the lazy side today, so she took advantage of my spacious bag and made herself at home. Spoiled isn’t the word! On another note, I’m so glad I put my initial thoughts aside and ended up purchasing this denim skirt. I am currently on the hunt for more!

  1. Okay so Trix is ADORABLE but I love that denim skirt so much! Great length and a good mix of both casual and smart with it being a pencil skirt. Love how you’ve styled it too!
