For my 3rd Fashion Week look, I was really channeling my inner school girl. Being the Catholic school girl that I was, I wore a plaid skirt almost every day for 12 years straight during Elementary and High School. After not wearing one for almost 2 years now, I decided to take my kilt to the streets, but put a spin on the school girl look. I decided to pair the plaid skirt with this Balmain inspired blazer, and it really provided for such a classy and sophisticated look. Throwing on this blazer instantly evolved this look and instantly transformed me from a girl to a woman with her priorities in order… or at least thats what it looks like 😉 . Lately I have been swooning over blazers, so I couldn’t wait to take this one out of my closet and wear it during fashion week. To keep this look ever so classic, a pointy pump was my only option – I knew I couldn’t go wrong!
This is the look I changed into before heading over to the Rebecca Minkoff show. Before I get into detail…let me just say that the show was ah-mazing!!! I mean who else closes down Greene Street in Soho to present their collection?! That was such a power move. It was honestly the best show I had ever attended! Before the show started, Trix and I were stopped to take street photos, and Glamour Magazine actually caught a clip of us and posted it on their official snapchat! Trix loved showing off her plaid ensemble, and of course all of the attention that came along with that! As I was watching the show, it was almost as if each piece of clothing got better and better as it made its way down the cobble stone runway. I could see myself in almost all of the pieces, considering that it was a ready to wear collection. Also, side note…I was sitting across from Victoria Justice, and I just want to note that she is one of the sweetest celebrities that I have ever met..and not to mention one of the most naturally beautiful. I was lucky enough to get a photo with her, which also made my day! I have one more fashion week look coming to you all, so please stay tuned! You don’t want to miss it!
